Kill ’Em All | Bayou Raised Outfitters started with something simple: a love for the outdoors, family, and the way we were raised.
I grew up in Morgan City, Louisiana, a small town where everybody knew everybody. Growing up down here, you were raised around the outdoors. Whether it was fishing, hunting, running the bayous, cooking, or just spending time outside with family and friends, the outdoors was a part of life.
As kids, we didn’t need much. We hunted, we fished, we played in the dirt, explored the woods, ran around outside, and spent hours in nature without a care in the world. We were just free. Looking back, those simple moments are some of the things that made us who we are today.
As I got older and moved away from Morgan City, I slowly got away from that lifestyle. New interests came along, life got busy, and hunting and fishing took a back seat.
Then a couple years ago, I started finding my way back to it.
One day, my father-in-law at the time, Bert Gauley, came to me with an idea — Kill ’Em All Guide Service. I decided to run with it. What started as an idea quickly became something bigger. I started creating hats, clothing, coming up with seasonings that pair well with gamey meats and everyday meals, and building a brand around the things we love.
Bert also played a big part in getting me back into fishing and the outdoors. Then, in 2025, he and his son Laitin took me hunting in the Maurepas Swamp for the first time.
That first hunt is something I’ll never forget.
We all tagged a doe on our first hunt out there for that season. On the second hunt, I had a nice buck come in for my first buck ever and… well, let’s just say buck fever got the best of me. 🤦🏻♂️ I missed.
Laitin went on to tag out with some beautiful bucks, while Bert put a couple smaller bucks on the ground. But honestly, it wasn’t just about the deer. It was about being out there, learning, laughing, making memories, and getting back to something I had missed for a long time.
That experience helped shape what this brand would become.
And it wasn’t just hunting. Fishing quickly became a huge part of the story too.
In October 2025, Bert participated in the Northshore Sacalait Fishing Tournament, proudly representing Kill ’Em All. He and his wife came home with a 3rd-place finish on the Diversion Canal and won the Tiny Fish Pot, while I was there cooking for the tournament and doing my part behind the scenes. It was another one of those days where Kill ’Em All wasn’t just a name on a hat. We were actually out there living it.
Then, in February 2026, I participated in another tournament on the Tickfaw River, running it out of my own boat. Unfortunately, I had to cut out of the tournament early. But Laitin and his buddy stayed in it and finished the tournament strong. They didn’t quite crack the top three, but they showed out for Kill ’Em All and represented the brand the way we wanted it represented.
Those experiences reminded us that this was becoming bigger than just a future guide service business.
In 2026, we decided to take the next step and rebrand from Kill ’Em All Guide Service to Kill ’Em All | Bayou Raised Outfitters.
Why the change?
Because we’re about more than just guiding hunts or fishing trips. Even though that’s a part of what we plan to offer down the road, we didn’t want people to look at Kill ’Em All and think it was only a guide service.
We wanted to build something that represents the entire lifestyle we grew up around — hunting, fishing, family, the bayou, cooking, good friends, hard work, and making memories outdoors.
More importantly, we hope to continue the legacy of loving the outdoors and pass it down to the next generation. We want our kids to experience the same things we grew up with — waking up early to hunt, spending all day on the water, getting dirty, playing in the dirt, exploring the woods, learning from nature, and simply being outside with no care in the world.
Because sometimes, the best memories aren’t about what you caught or what you killed. Sometimes they’re about the people you were with, the places you went, the stories you made, and the freedom of simply being outdoors.
Eventually, we plan to offer guided hunts and fishing trips and expand what we can provide for fellow outdoorsmen and women. But for now, we’re focused on building the foundation of the brand and creating products we’re proud to put our name on.
We have apparel and hats coming, along with our own seasoning blends, marinades, steak sauce, dipping sauce, crawfish and crab boil seasoning, and plenty more to come.
This isn’t just a brand.
It’s a piece of where we come from.
It’s about getting back to our roots, bringing family and friends together, enjoying the outdoors, cooking good food, chasing fish and game, and passing that lifestyle down to the next generation.
From the bayou we were raised in to the memories we’re making today — this is Kill ’Em All | Bayou Raised Outfitters.
Bayou Raised. Built for the Outdoors.
